🟣How do I get more than 1,000 search results?

Personal and Business subscription plans allow receiving up to 1,000 search results for both posts and users search types. A new batch of 1,000 items can be loaded by clicking the update button located at the upper right corner of the search results window, right above Sort by Default. Search results can be updated an unlimited amount of times. The feature is not available within free Combin version.

🟣I can't log in. What should I do?

If you're facing login issues, please try these steps:

  1. Turn off the antivirus or firewall program if you have one running and log in again.
  2. Open Instagram website in your browser, log in to your account there, and right after that, log in with your username and password within Combin Growth.

💡Keep in mind that you should open the browser on the computer where Combin Growth is installed!

3. Disable the two-factor authentication in case it’s enabled.

4. Log in within Combin Growth.

If this doesn't work, also try this:

  1. Turn off the 2FA.
  2. Log out of Instagram on all devices and from its web version.
  3. Log in with another IP (you may use another Wi-Fi connection or your mobile phone as a hotspot).

If all of the above does not work, please wait for 24 hours and try again.

🟣How do I unfollow Instagram users who don’t follow me back?

Combin can instantly detect who doesn’t follow you back and unfollow them both selectively and a whole lot in one click. Here's how:

  1. Download Combin Growth, it's available for Mac, PC and Linux.
  2. Launch the application and log in with your Instagram account.
  3. Open the Users tab and get access to all Instagram accounts you follow.
  4. Click Not followers and find a list of all users that don’t follow you back.
  5. Click Select All and then hit the Unfollow the users button to mass-unfollow all Instagram accounts that don’t follow you.

That’s it! After this task for unfollowing will be automatically created and started by the application. You can monitor its progress in the Tasks tab.

🟣How to log out without losing account information?

Logging out of the account within Combin Growth causes losing all account-related data. Search and task history, as well as contents of the Safe, Black and Unfollowed lists cannot be retrieved unless you back them up before the log out. If you changed your account password or want to update posts, following and followers counts manually, re-login instead of logging out completely and logging back in.

In order to re-login, click Accounts at the application menu bar and pick the Re-login to {username} option. Type in your password and you will be re-logged into your account without losing any information.

🟣How to find the application folder?

There are two ways to find the Combin folder.

1) The first way is a manual search by the following paths, depending on OS:

✅Windows: C:/Users//AppData/Local/Open Media LLC/Combin/Combin/

✅Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Open Media LLC/Combin/Combin/

✅Linux: ~/.local/share/Open Media LLC/Combin/Combin

While the method is always performed successfully by Windows and Linux users, Mac users often struggle finding the folder by the above path because mac OS has several Library folders by default. If you are a Mac user and experience the same issue, do the following:

  1. Open Finder and the Go menu.
  2. Press the Option button on your keyboard.

An additional ‘Library’ option should appear after that.

3. Click Library and find the Application Support folder there, then Open Media LLC and Combin’ folders respectively.

2) The second way to find the application folder is through Combin directly which works for all operating systems:

1. Quit Combin Growth. Make sure it’s not open in tray/task manager.

2. Launch the application.

3. Press the Alt/Option button on your keyboard 3 times in a row.

4. The Show Data Directory option should appear in the Help section of the menu.

5. Click the Show Data Directory and the application folder will be automatically opened.

🟣Will it grow my audience automatically?

Combin Growth helps automating the activity and provides convenient search options, but search initiation, search results items selection and action type application need to be performed manually.

🟣Does it work when computer is off or in sleep mode?

Combin Growth is a desktop tool that performs searches and action tasks directly from user computer and IP address.

The application requires to be launched on a turned on computer and with an access to a stable Internet connection. It doesn't work when the computer is in sleep mode or turned off.

🟣Where do I get the Starter plan (free version) activation key?

Combin Growth free version doesn't require activation. The Activate button located at the top right corner of the Profile tab window is exclusively meant for the premium plan subscription key application. You may start searching and interacting with current and potential audience right after logging into your account within Combin. Check our guide in order to learn how the application works.

Please note that the number of allowed daily action limits and search results are limited on the free version and the search results updating is not available, as it is a permanently available version and not a trial period that grants access to all application features for a short period of time.
